Pro Flight Emulator: .pln files problem

Once a flight plan is compiled and loaded in FSX it will not work with AS 2012, Electronic Flight Bag, or Plan-G. Those are the only three I have tried to use and they all report the files as not being proper .pln files. The only workaround I have found is to duplicate the plan on AS 2012 and Plan-G. They can then provide flight following and weather. However, the most valuable program imo is the EFB and it will not connect to the flight using a plan from Pro Flight Emulator.

Has anyone else found this problem? Is there a solution?

Until recently Radar Contact 4.3 has been my primary but PFE has some nice features and lots of voices that add a lot of variety while "in flight". Was looking forward to RC v5 but JD reports that he must put development on hold.
