IFLY 737 problem...maybe

Featured Replies

Hello, I've recently purchased my 737 from Flight1, so far I'm loving it, though a few problems have came up that have me pulling my hair out. Before I go ahead and create my 1000th new username and password over at the forums (I have a hard time remember the thousand I have now!), I was wondering if my friends here at Avsim can help me in at least identifying if it's a user error, or if it's something I should dig further on the support forum for.

Long story short, the autopilot is giving me flight-ending problems during circuits (Or at least that's when it seems to come up)

For example, when turning or at very low alts 3500 or below I will hit Level Change on the MCP and the aircraft will pretty much lose altitude until it crashes into the ground. The FD's show a climb that is needed to correct for the altitude but the AP will just not follow it.

I can provide more information as needed, but before running over to Ifly and calling foul on the bird I'm trying to nail it down to user error, or aircraft error.

Below is an example I recreated. I could not hit LVL change on the mcp when the aircraft started to lose altitude from it's assigned of 3500, after previously establishing the altitude by level change. Speed was not really a issue. The flaps were fine for the speed before I gained so much from the rapid descent

Thank you

Steve B

Edit: If this is a issue that must be taken over to ifly I have zero problems in doing that, just thought I would start here first as again, I don't know if it's more of me not flying the aircraft correctly, or an actual aircraft problem. :)
