September 22, 201213 yr I know this is a topic that is going on for a long time now, in fsx, pmdg 737ngx and hardware forums. I just wanted to know if there are any users, who have been able to setup the hardware and software in such a way, that they can switch from vc cockpit to external views as often as they want, without getting a fsx freeze or ctd. I am getting very reasonable results now with my setup, but I have to be very careful not to overdue with different views. I am using ezdok without TrackIR, but changing views more then a few times always results in fsx freezing, after a few minutes. The only hardware a bit outdated is my videocard, MSI 460GTX Hawk 1Gb GDDR5 Ram. The rest is average, I7-2600K 4300Mhz, G-Skill 8Gb 8-8-8-24 on Asus P8Z68-V mb. Ton v Dongen Ton van Dongen
September 22, 201213 yr download UIAutomationCore.dll on the net, it has helped a lot of people with switching views and pressing buttons on the aircraft, if helped me try it out and report back, good luck bilal I7 10700K 16GB 3600MHZ RTX3080FE
September 22, 201213 yr As stated above, download the UIAutomationCore.dll, but make sure it is the Windows Vista version (I'm assuming you are running windows 7.) Then, place the file in your fsx base folder and replace the old one (after backing it up). This solved the problem for me, but if you want additional performance improvements try tweaking your fsx.cfg file from http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html, using this site increased my frames by around 7fps, not much, but it's still helpful.
September 25, 201213 yr Author I already have the uiautomationcore.dll fix and also the g3d.dll fix from pete dawson's fsuipc. The config.utility from venetubo gives mixed results,a specialy the bufferpools section, some people benefit, others don't. But i will keep on testing, thanks for the replies. Ton v. September 25, 201213 yr I have had it one time in my Old system at heathrow, I had changed density to Very Dense. Very right on the slider. Had played around with it on some country airfield with the Flying Wing. But using Very Dense on UK2000 Heathrow killed my system, frooze/hanged when I switched to Spot view. With Normal density I can fly PMDG 737 without any problem at Heathrow. Lower some scenery settings and see if it works, a High End Win7 pc does not mean you can set things very high. It is only a 32-bit app. after all. /Per W Per W Sweden Programmer since 30+ years (now retired) and a avid flightsimmer since SubLogic on Vic64. Now I enjoy XP 12.1.3r2 and Scenery fixing.
