September 22, 201213 yr I am using VoxATC with UT2 traffic integrated via UT2bridge (UT2 disabled). The AI traffic I see in Aivlasoft's EFB always shows a flight number consisting of 5 letters like "Air France GNFHZ" (all flight numbers begin with the letter G) although I hear VoxATC calling it "Air France 996". Anything I did wrong? Anything I can do? Regards, Andreas Regards, Andreas Gutzwiller
October 5, 201213 yr Andreas, An airline callsign like 'Air France GNFHZ' does not seem right. I would look into that, as VoxATC seems to be more correct.
October 5, 201213 yr Author mhlarsen, yes, it's strange. 'Air France GNFHZ' is what I see in EFB (and FsCommander). In general, there seem the be problems with VoxATC's handling of AI traffic with or without binding in UT2 traffic. Andreas Regards, Andreas Gutzwiller
October 6, 201213 yr GNFHZ is the Aircraft Ident or tail number/ID. the Call sign (what you hear over the radio) is the call sign for that Airline (e.g. British airway are called "speedbird" over the radio, China Airlines are called "DYNASTY") followed by the flight number. more in this link: http://en.wikipedia....i/Airline_codes so if a British airways flight 282 is on route , it would be called "SpeedBird 282" both in real world and by VoxATC. Vox ATC uses the radio call sign as it should to call out AI traffic. I would check in your EFB settings , it looks like you could set it there probably how to visualize the AI on the map. October 7, 201213 yr Author I am aware of the difference between tailnumber and airline/flightnumber. The traffic is generated by VoxATC. What I *hear* with VoxAtc is the airline/flightnumber (Air France 996) but what I *see* in EFB and FSC is a combination of airline/tailnumber (Air France GNFHZ). I don't see any relevant settings for this in EFB/FSC. Andreas Regards, Andreas Gutzwiller
