I know the missions are in Acceleration, but is it possible to have assisted takeoff and landing on carriers without acceleration?

Though I'm not sure, I think you'll always need to have acceleration for assisted carrier ops, as those features only come with Acceleration. I'd say best is to do a search for "carrier" or "ai carrier" in the Avsim Library, download some of the items there, and try if they work. Usually it's always stated if some add-on requires ACC.

By default no, there is a gauge i believe you can add that will make them work but i believe it needs some cfg modding to get it to wor. Your better off just getting acceleration as a lot of the carrier planes require it for them to work properly.
