  1. Hi All, I own the 737NGX and the 777 PMDG licenses for FSX. I am considering switching over to P3D, and it looks like you need to open your wallet again to get these PMDG planes to work, is there a discount for current customers to purchase the P3D license version? Thanks
  2. I checked out RC4 at a friend's house. Not sure if it was a mistake on my part, but at the point in which I was going from enroute to my STAR, it sent me in circles for some reason then stopped responding. I tried it again later with the same setup, and this time it worked and let me fly my route in working just fine. One other funny thing I noticed is if you click the "Load APL" (I think thats what it says, I clicked it by mistake), there is no way to exit the file dialog without loading an APL (did not have one) or nuking RC4 in the task manager. No way to cancel. I will stick with PFE as much as I hate it, and try VoxATC.
  3. Hehe. Well lucky for me I never purchased ProATC/X
  4. I can name plenty of FSX addons that are not even worth a dime IMO. And not to defend the ProATC/X guy, but getting sick seems to be popular with FSX. I suppose it's because many are developed by amateur hobbyist programmers. Also trying to get help for programs that are still active, such as PFPX, is like pulling teeth. Questions are not answered in the official forums, I can (and did) get an answer here faster. Meanwhile someone like Volker goes out of his way to answer FSCommander questions.
  5. Same here, but I run NVidia. Intel i7-4770k @ 4.2Ghz MSI Z87 M/B GeForce GTX 780 4GB 32 gigs of G.Skill Ripjaws X Series DDR3-1866 RAM Samsung 840 EVO 240 gig SSD (FSX is on here) Corsair Water Cooler Windows 7/64
  6. Don't get your panties in a bunch, I did not say a single thing about this tool, I am just saying in general that I do not have any problems. Perhaps people just do not know how to setup their system, I do. I have Orbx, I also have a ton of addons, and I have no problems. I have nothing to prove to you, I did try the demo though, and it made things worse, so i removed it, simple as that. Again though, I was just asking why do people have such problems. I did not mention anything, good or bad, about the tool. So you can stop needlessly trying to defend it. The guides are good, what I am saying is that I think some people just do EVERY tweak, needed or not, and without knowing what it does. That is not good
  7. Why do people have problems in the first place? I have a ton of scenery, addons, and complex planes like the NGX. My system is very high end, and I hand tweaked it, I have never had any problems with stuttering or texture blur. I have a feeling that people just install various tweaks (such as Word Not Allowed's or NickN's guides) without knowing what it does, or even worse they run Bojote's Tweak tool which is very out dated for today's hardware. It's silly...
  8. Borderless mode will run the same speed as windowed mode.
  9. It (the demo) made my system run slower, but mine was already very fast.
  10. Have the latest version of both. Any flight plan made in PFPX causes FSCommander to give me a "Some waypoints are missing in current Cycle!" error. Both are using cycle 1405, and the route came from Route Finder.
  11. That fixed it, even with the 777-200 full pax and cargo (but not fuel) I guess those engines are just too powerful
  12. Are you sure the graphics card is not throttling due to heat for example?
