over 100++ flights with VOX ATC and not once has it let me fly the approach via assigned star. Sids are fine and Im left alone but after punching my approach it always vectors me away well before hand.

 

seems odd as the instructed track looks perfect on the screen set to intercept the glide slope at just the right angle.

 

any one else have this problem?

When handed off from Center to Approach, then you can use the '0 menu' to request a Full ILS.

example:

 

After starting the decend I was given the STAR NEMES1C! Because I don't want vectors and descent instructions, as soon as I have tuned the radio to Athens Approach, Contact them and at the same time made a request for full ILS03R approach!!!!.
