Never switched still running FSX-SE on a 10600k and GTX970 , DX!0 and settings maxed no issues no updates and my sim is loaded to the max with add on sceneries and PMDG etc. The sim look's glorious and very very rarely get a OOM due to selective scenery app and steves fixer If I started again as a newbie it would be with prepared or Xplane AND GO FLY !!

What options are available in the FMC regarding preflight cold n dark set up ? Does Ifly have a long and short set up like in the pmdg 777 ? Im asking since there is no fs2cew so I would need to complete the whole preflight myself

Between DCS and FSX I have plenty of study sims to keep the old brain active. Have tried other stuff during steam sales but I get bored or find having to use a key board to shoot ,run,jump etc ..tedious

Good to hear Jan, shes a bit of a handful at times but I like that. I dont know what CAP is but maybe someone can step up and explain it to us both

Just happens I took off from LOWI 10 mins ago and before setting the NAV button you need to use the direct to tab while still on the ground(bottom tab , left side) and select the first way point and then press enter. When you take off you can then select the NAV tab and it will follow the course.

I have these squares over Fly Tampa Dubai runways after installing latest fixer. There is a lot of info on the net but cant seem to track down the final definitive fix so could someone point me in the right direct? Thanks in advance
