Flying military planes in a civilian sim that wont dog fight or fire bullets is a bit like kissing your sister,,not very exciting DCS owns that arena

The ASI works on RAM air from the pitots so if not blocked its all they needed to land VFR. Why it was such terrible landing is a mystery so far

Agreed DCS is the bees knees. Flying their study sims is like flying PMDG but then Having the 777 loaded to the teeth with weapons that you have to understand how to fully operate like in the real world and the whole time avoid getting your Butt shot down. DCS also utilizes VR more effectively.

I use Aerosoft with steam and no issues. FSX and steam are the same thing if you only have one of them installed. Its when you have both side by side That FSX and Steam need their own separate installers

When buying an airport for tubes eg all of FSDT then I buy the state in photo scenery and the city itself surrounding the airport in Ultra res. That way departure and approach always look good and the bits in between arent really important at 35000ft eg KJFK buy the state from MSE and buy the ultra res city on top. MSE has improved its photo scenery resolution a lot over the last few years

True earth is not that popular among many ORBX posters on their forums due to the FPS hit and there is a bit of a push to get OLC back on track which has taken a back seat to true earth I would buy whatever it is you desire unless your a big TE fan

Thanks for your help , I Downloaded realtek website 2017 latest driver but that didn't work. Have do nothing checked and that doesn't work. At a loss where to go from here

Thought I would reopen this thread In the off chance somebody may have some ideas as I have had no luck finding a solution And here is the confusing part...The volume only drops to 50% whit CONTROLLER voices . The pilot voices have no effect at all
