I am trying to get some joystick buttons to be assigned to Autopilot 1 and Autopilot 2. So these are two separate buttons on the joystick.

 

However, when I try to do this via the FMC, it seems to only accept keyboard hotkeys and not the buttons from my joystick.

Also, via the FSX settings I can only set the Autopilot Master, which is Autopilot 1 in the NGX.

 

What can I do to get this to work?

If you have a registered version of FSUIPC you can assign the joystick button to act as a key press. Example set a button for A then assign A through the FMC to what action you want and voila.
