April 26, 200323 yr Just wondering, but does anyone know of videos such as Just Planes videos that are of BizJets such as Lears, Citations, etc. or smaller General Aviation planes? There are many good ones of larger arirliners and commuters but I haven't heard of any for this other side of aviation. Thanks.
April 26, 200323 yr I realize this isn't exactly what you wanted, but I noticed the other day that cessna has a short movie of the citation X:http://citationx.cessna.com/gallery.chtmlThe link is there on the left. It's a really short clip, but it's a really beautiful airplane.edit: and there's a 3:45 long video here:http://www.citationshares.com/news/testimonials.aspx
April 27, 200323 yr Here's a thought -- go to www.sportys.com and check out their pilot shop. They have the dvd courses (small planes - lots of cockpit time) that you can buy, but they also will give away the first dvd in the series for about $4 shipping (they'll do the same with the IFR series, too). The VFR dvd contains a fair amount of in-flight cockpit video.Hope this helps,N
April 29, 200323 yr Author Commercial Member I really really recommend "Flying The Citation" ... It's a King Schools video and you should be able to get it at your local pilots supplies store. There's a brief walk around to introduce the aircraft and then you get to ride along on a typical flight. Lots of emphasis on procedures and detailed explanations. There's a lot of information covered ... so you'll enjoy watching it many times. It's not so much an instructional video for the citation, but intended to illustrate to GA pilots some of the differences and challenges of flying a small jet. BTW check your local library... they may have it in the video section.DannyCYVR
