July 3, 200421 yr Flying around Leeds/Bradford in the UK I kept getting a CTD when I activated the GPS; when I de-activated my AFCAD scenery folder the CTD disappeared. So after much trial and error analysis, I found that the three modified files in NL2000 (AP948130; AP949120; AP949130) which were to be copied into the eurwscenery folder, had also been inadvertently copied into the AFCAD scenery folder. I did a manual installation and so do not believe the fault is with the NL2000 installer. When I removed these three files from my AFCAD scenery folder, the CTD disappeared, with our without the GPS. I was just about to continue my search for the error when I saw you post. I'll check what NL2000 files I still have lurking on my HDD.The CTD fro me always came on a flight from EGNM to EHAM just after I crossed the East coast of England, same place every time no matter what I was flying. Thanks for posting your experiencePhil Asus Maximus Hero XI , i7-8086, 16 Gb RAM, nVidia GTX 1080 ti
July 4, 200421 yr Author Very interesting! Since your reply I went to the NL forum and others are having somewhat similar problems without resolution, so I posted my message there as well.Nigel
July 5, 200421 yr NigelDo you have British Airports installed? I noticed that some time ago I was getting CTD's every time I flew from EGNM to anywhere in Europe. I eventually discovered that it was something to do with early AF2 files for British Airports. I removed all but the major airports and the problem went away (Major= those airports with MAX AF2 files).Later versions of the AF2 files did not cause the problem.Hope this helpsAdrian
July 5, 200421 yr Author AdrianI don't have British Airports installed but I did resolve the problems by removing those three recaltritant files of NL2000 from my AFCAD directory. Going to the NL2000 forum I see others are having similar problemsNigel
