October 2, 201213 yr I am currently running fs9 with an ATI RADEON HD 5570 on an i7 -2600k cpu @ 3.40 ghz. The card was loaded with the pc when I got it last year, but I feel its not up to scratch on cloud rendering and night flying. What card would be advisable to get that would be better esp for night flying within my budget of about £150. thanks
October 2, 201213 yr Well, I don't know the current exchange rate, but a NVIDIA 660Ti can be had for $289 or so at newegg, that's what is going in my new rig. See Ben Cap's reply to my thread for more info. The 660Ti is a great card for fsx. ORBX- the way to go Sincerely, John McGee
October 2, 201213 yr For the aged FS9, a second hand Nvidia GT550 or GTX 460 will do the trick, and then some.
