  1. There is a fine flicker fix that also takes care of other anomilies somewhere in the library here.
  2. You guys doing any new smaller type GA stuff soon? If I can even ask....,a be classified info.
  3. Scott, it works great. I only lost about 50 ft on the t/o roll. Not too bad. It really smooths ou the final approach. John
  4. Scott, :Applause: :Applause: :Applause: . That is perfect. Editing the files as we speak. Shall report if changes help shortly. Going on a test flight around PAKT.
  5. Hey! Speaking of the 210, where can I find those mods? I have said aircraft and it doesn't fly terribly realistic.
  6. Ryan, I think that is his point. He is saying the 850 flies too. Doubt that. That isn't what I am hearing elsewhere.
  7. Thanks Scott. Is there any hope he will re-do some older models and maybe do some new ones?
  8. Is there a list of the Carenado FDE's that Bernt actually did? That would be really helpful.
  9. ....And back to the topic... What do you guys think about the Carenado Baron?
  10. +1 Glad I waited too. I wish Mr. Stolle could tell us whether he actually did the FDE or didn't.
  11. Yikes. Poor Q400, must be pilot error.
  12. Yeah not much to top those. I might throw in the Carenado 185 tundra and maybe the Flight Replicas Super Cub.
  13. Alright, thank you Anthony. I am eagerly awaiting said release.
  14. Exactly what I do. Flight plan is in the GPS and ready to go, but I primarily use a map and my eyes. Of course, my trusty VOR's help out with the NAV too, especially in PFJ where I have been flying a lot lately. It all kind of looks the same away from the cities, so I do use a GPS for reference sometimes up there.
  15. How long do you all think we will be waiting for the Haswell to hit the market?
  16. I have, the analogue isn't really different. It is maybe 2 FPS better, but not much. The thing now isn't sustained low FPS, I somehow fixed that, it is the dips and stutters down to anywhere from 4-10FPS. That makes it unflyable. Any hints to fix that?
  17. Well, testing is complete. I set it up at suggested airport and FPS were still poor. I have them up to a minimum of 17ish now, but the stutters are bad. I have done extensive testing and made small gains, but the FPS still dips to 6 every now and again, which is unflyable. That is the biggest issue.
  18. Wow, thanks to everyone for the answers. I am getting both the Dukes. I will research the Milviz as that seems to be a good aircraft. I have their F-15E and love it, though I am still learning a lot of it, as I only received it 2 weeks ish ago now.
  19. Alright....let me preface by saying that I know the RA Duke is the best. I intend on ordering said aircraft this weekend. But, besides the Duke, what do you all think is the best twin (can be piston, turbine, etc, but must be propeller driven) avaibable? I am hoping for some good FPS performance, decent graphics, and relatively in-depth systems modelling. I would fly anything from the size of the Baron on up to the King Air. Suggestions Appreciated, John
  20. I am going to overstate the obvious, but I love the 185 tundra and I use it extensively. If you want something relatively fast that can land in the bush....bingo.
  21. Alright thanks Ben. Long time no talk by the way! We shall wait and see how the Haswell is. Hopefully it is a substantial improvement, but I am kinda doubting it.
  22. Hi all. Based on what we know so far, is the Haswell going to be worth spending the extra $$$ on versus the Ivy? I am building a new system and wondering if it is worth it.
  23. I could try a Fry's but that is fairly far away. Are there any reputable online vendors?
  24. Hello everyone. I am finally going to be buying a long sought after computer. I was ready to buy about 6 months ago, but the funding fell through. I now have sufficient funds to cover $1,700. Which online builder do you all think is the best and most cost efficient? Thanks, John
  25. Alight, thanks for the tips Flo. I will test that out when I have some time this afternoon and report back.
