Problem uploading profile image

Featured Replies

Hi all,

New to the hobby and the forum.

I've been trying to upload an image for my profile - without success. I'm trying to follow the rules, and am trying a photo of 200x200 pixels, JPG format, but after uploading, I just get that little 'image error' icon displaying, instead of the image I tried to upload.

Can anyone point towards what I might be getting wrong here?

Thanks

Geordie

George

Geordie,

I highly recommend hosting your image with that free Avatar service found under the same screen to change your avatar. For some reason the forums image rules can be a bit aggressive I've found and the only remedy for some of my avatars (even if within compliance) was to use that service.

Sincerely,

Chase

Thanks very much, I'll check that out.
