I have noticed this over the years that sometimes the ground in FSX seems to jerk erratically when the aircraft is on the ground. Does anyone know why this happens? It comes and goes but it's annoying when it happens.

My understanding is that this is due to loading of mesh which is causing the ground level to change. If your mesh sliders are full right you can try reducing them and see if that helps.
