Hi guys,

 

Strange things happen in FSX recently, but this is the strangest thing occured to me recently;

 

The scenery of sicily is totally misshapen. I added some screens.

 

Perhaps someone knows what the problem is?

 

Add-ons in use:

 

UTX

GEX Europe

Flytampa hong kong

Madeira

Vienna

Ultimate traffic X

And some aircraft addons

 

I also deleted fx-skidmark.effects for better performance, but I guess it ****** up my textures. Is this possible?

It has nothing to do with your removal or deactivation of the skidmark effect.

 

It does have something to do with your UTX most likely. I assume your talking about UTX Europe.

 

You have lost all your vector shorelines and possibly more by the looks of it. The culprit most likely is UTX installation and/or its scenery priority.

 

I would start by checking the UTX Europe scenery priority in your scenery.cfg file. UTX are regional sceneries and should be numbered in priority just above the base scenery layers.

 

Launch your UTX configure module. Check that you have the settings correctly turned on for shorelines and for that matter other vector stuff, like roads, creeks etc.

Hi!Had the same anomaly after installation of FSX-Accelerationpack with installed UTXEU.There is a patch for it here...http://www.simforums.com/forums/sticky-utx-and-fsx-acceleration-pack_topic23111.html. Uppdate your UTX's to the latest versions first, then apply the accelerationpack-patch.You have all info at the site.Followw the lonk...It help me!!!
