October 4, 201213 yr I just followed the excellent instructions on doing the DX-10 upgrade and also purchased the Add-on converter X package per the recommendation. I feel like I have a new version of Flight Simulator and love the great graphics quality. One thing I have noticed is that I seem to have lost costline masking. I'm pretty sure this has to do with stock FSX scenery since I noticed a correct coastline when I flew over Northern France which has custom "France VFR" textures. Anyway, I'm wondering how to get the coastlines back?
October 4, 201213 yr Those French VFR textures are trumping your default FSX scenery. You'll have to disable France VFR in your Scenery Library. October 6, 201213 yr Author Are you saying the France VFR addon scenery would affect the coastline masking everywhere? I've noticed this problem around Ireland and Holland too.
October 6, 201213 yr That's what he's saying. In FS9 the FlightZone02 KPDX software affected all of the Puget Sound shorelines, - lines everywhere - to the point where it needed to be turned off in order to use KSEA or Renton. You might bring this up on France VFR website. They might have a solution for it, or can recommend a work-around. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
