Things you can't plausibly do in the other sim...

Featured Replies

Apart from the evident one - flying helicopters - I also got accustumed to fly the AS-K21 in X-Plane10, using the built in weather model of the sim that includes plausible thermal and ridge/mountain lift support.

Even using a couple of sophisticated add-ons in the other sim can't bring the feel of flying a glider like in X-Plane10. The default AS-K21 is also a good default airplane in X-Plane10, down to the forward/side slip handling, and something I really can't duplicate in the other sim :-)

So... When it's time for rotary or soaring - X-Plane10 is the right choice ;-)

Default scenery detail is also remarkable. Near one of the aerdromes I fly from ( LPEV - Évora ) exists, to the south-east, a big pond, exactly marking the place where glider activities can start from in order not to interfere with normal traffic arriving / departing Évora aerdorome. Well, in FSX with an add-on I bought for the Ivberian Peninsula, there's not more than plain land there... In X-Plane10 the pond is there :-)
