How to improve FPS? Low settings, max hardware.

Recommended Posts

50 and 60 c/s is the way it was for thirty - forty years in offices everywhere, and most noticeable under fluorescent lighting. Good for Aspirin sales!

PTaylor said FSX was designed to have frames locked <40. 30 is 1/2 the refresh rate of 60. Not the same as a movie.

My test:

NYC, internal limiter at 30 = 21 FPS.

NYC, internal limiter at unlimited, external limiter at 30 = 27 FPS.

I kept the external limiter and smooth as silk. 28-30-32 most places.
