737 ngx --> autoland automatic centerline problem

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a question regarding the Autoland 3 approach, maybe someone made the same experience.

When i´m performing an Autoland 3 approch (Autoland Fail op), sometimes it happens that the 737 is not able to hold the

centerline. The rudder seems to pin.

It seems to me that this is a Bug?

Has some made the same experience?

Kind Regards

Steffen

Provided you are not trying to exceed the Autoland crosswind limitations....this all depends on where the localiser antennae is positioned within FS - totally independant of the PMDG 737 NGX & not a 'bug' with the product.

There are plenty of misaligned NAVAIDS, LOC beams & G/S beams within native FS & more dissapointingly within payware & freeware scenery that sits in a layer above the stock FS stuff...where did this happen & does it happen everywhere you try to AUTOLAND?

certainly not a bug, try to look for a limitation that you're braking, i have done couple of Autolands online with no problem at all. cheers.

Steffen, are you sure you have the fail operational equipment selected in the MCDU?
