October 14, 201213 yr Hi, So i'm runing in the FSX in DX-10 Preview and I feel like the quality is not as good. Is that normal?
October 14, 201213 yr It is not normal if you followed the How to guides in the pinned topic in this forum. Just stating quality is not good does not tell us anything. October 15, 201213 yr You really need to follow the .doc word for word. It tells you everything you need, what and how to install with links to installations. This is not a poke, but really it took me all of 20 minutes to read and fly. If you have been following the forums, the big bug is night textures. And by that I mean runway lighting. For me DX10 has been a dream come true. So go back. Brew a pot of coffee, download what you need and off the top of my head you will need the shaders mod 3.1.1, AddonConverterx (to convert DX9 files to DX10) and mod your config file. If I was you I'd back up your current FSX.cfg file, let FSX build a new one and start fresh. Trust me. DX10 works for me and many others. Also. I joined your forum, very nice, but I firmly believe this DX10 needs to stay right here in AVSIM. Too many people working hard to take it to another forum. Just link it back here. Hope you can understand that. Last before someone jumps on you, sign your posts so we know who we are talking to. Blue Skies Brett GO CARDS!!!!!!!
