October 14, 201213 yr Hi Everyone, Got a question. I may have accidentally deleted or overwritten a file in the FSX folder.Im really unsure while fie it is. My Superbug and my PMDG 737 (HGS) for now (yet to check others) doesn't seem to work. If i reinstall or repair the installaition, will i loose all my addons and all my settings? October 14, 201213 yr You would copy the folder with the fsx.cfg/dll.xml etc to a temp directory. I would copy my scenery.cfg (working one in the C:\Program Data folder) too to a temp directory. Then do your repair. Make sure you repair Acceleration if that's installed too. If that's not installed, then you will have to repair SP1 and SP2. Good luck.
