October 19, 201213 yr Hello, I'm been using FS2Crew for the NGX for some time now, and I love it. However, there is one thing that annoys me. When starting from cold & dark, it's always the FO that starts the plane. All I do as the captain is turning on the IRS and setting up the FMC. But I would like to be able to start the plane myself too. I know I can just skip the whole starting up process, but then I lose things like cabin announcements and boarding. And that's not preferable either... Isn't there a way to prevent the FO from doing the start up flow, but still keep all the other functions? So that the FO only adjusts stuff when I ask him to? Thanks, and keep up the good work! Regards, Andreas Oeium

The captain has to do all this and then some, including paperwork etc, so we're busy too !! Have fun ! Damien WeekesCaptain 737NG / A319/20/21
October 19, 201213 yr Author Thanks Damien. Yeah, I guess I could follow the FCOM properly. At least I won't have little to do in that case Still wish I could turn on the APU manually, and turn many of the knobs and switches myself, but well, it is what it is. Anyway. thanks again, I'll be sure to take a look at that list next time. ^_^ Regards, Andreas Oeium
October 19, 201213 yr When i fly with FS2Crew i have a lot of work. And you can turnon by self the Battery and Standy Power Switch e.tc. But when i am boarding, i will fill the Logbook and when you are the Pilot Not Flying you must go out for Walkaround. Then i calculate my fuel and set up Payload Page in the NGX CDU. When there complete i send my flightplan over Ivap. Then follow the complete Cockpit Prepartion. Eyerthing panel must be preflight by the Captain! First the main panel with the Engine Instruments, GPWS System, and the Light Test. Then controune with the Light panel. Turn on the mainpanel Light. The third panel ist the FMC. You must be put in the Data and the go to Overhead Panel. In the FS2Crew Manaul you can find the compelte Captain PreFlight Flow. It ´s a lot of work. ^_^ Live your dream and not dream your life!
October 20, 201213 yr Author Thanks ^_^ Yeah, it's a lot of work. But I still think the FO's tasks are more interesting though Regards, Andreas Oeium
