October 19, 201213 yr I am use to seeing anti-glare areas on the inboard top half of the engine nacelles on both the port and starboard side. My question is why are the anti-glare areas on the bottom inboard engine nacelles? Or is that something else? When I was building a paint kit is when I discovered this. It shows up in other textures also. Russ
October 19, 201213 yr If you are at talking about the black part on the engines.... They are on the bottom because it prevents the anti-collision light reflecting off the engine so it does not blind the pilot.
October 19, 201213 yr Author I have not seen any anti glare on the bottom of the nacelles on the USN TC-12Bs. They have the anti-glare on the upper part of the nacelle. I do see what you mentioned on other GA B200s Russ
October 20, 201213 yr The US Navy UC-12F BuNo 163553 I used to work with at NAF Misawa had top and bottom anti-glare on the inboards of the engines. -Damien Damien Furtman Hovering Hellion
