Bert I have version 4.7 of your GTX installed. I don't see a file labelled autopilot_emb300V4VC.xml in the panel.gtn Did I miss something or am I being real stupid and not looking where I should. Russ

IMHO I think PMDG did a good job on the Poseidon they released in in the P3D version and the FSX update. I was hoping for the release of a P-8A paint kit also. But it didn't happen. I took the 737-800 paint kit and using the textures that PMDG released with their version made a P-8A paint kit. Is it perfect? No. I did 5 different VP squadrons and released the textures for them in the beginning of April for anyone to download. The paint kit is just beyond huge and I have no way to upload it or I would. I never could get the PMDG Operations Center to work so I uploaded the textures to be installed the the traditional way. Russ Smith

"I'll post details on the final UEFI/BIOS settings used (including UEFI version etc.) ... changes were not difficult at all and I'm sure I could squeeze out more if I spent more time with it. I only used ROG to display temps and voltage, pretty much handled everything else via the UEFI/BIOS" I have everything running but need to figure out what I need to do to OC the creature. Russ

I was very reluctant to finish the build because of the issues of moving the HD to the new computer. I was prompted to go ahead and finish because of a power supply going out. When I booted up on the new computer I received a message about repairing the software. When it rebooted everything was normal. The only thing the new computer did was download some new files for the new hardware. Everything is working with the exception of P3D needing new activation which failed. Waiting for LM to respond. Updates uploaded. Used the traditional method without a ptp file. Never got the OC to export a working ptp file. Just have to wait for the AVSIM library to be updated. Russ Smith

Now I am getting 1KB ptp file when I export the livery. It does that for any livery, not just mine. I ran the OC updater and it updated the OC. Any ideas? Russ Smith

Who is getting the following message? "USN 168428 VP-30" is from the wrong PMDG product. I only have the P3D version of the 737NGX running. It seems as if the OC is trying to use FSX for installation. Russ Smith

I have done 5 P-8A textures of VP USN squadrons from a modified 800/900 paint kit. They are not ready for release because there parts of textures that don;t match with the modified paint kit. I would like to see a dedicated P-8A kit released by PMDG. PLEASE! I did post some screen shots at SOH in the P3D/Screen shot forum in the last 3 days. Russ Smih

Glynn That sounds promising. I have 1.34 TB of free space on the C drive. I also have separate D & E drives. I wonder why Microsoft decided to make things more difficult. I built 2 other systems in progression to where I am today. In both cases I just pluggrd in the old drive. Booted up and every thing was good to go. Russ Smith

The HDD is Windows 8.1 x64 and is full of files. It is my current C drive. I cannot aford to loose the files it has on it. Russ Smith

Just a status update on my build. It sets in the corner of my computer room with the issue of not being able to place my current HDD that I am using now into the new build. That problem has derailed my efforts for the time being. Just needs a few cables plugged in and it would be done. I have not given up but I certainly am frustrated. Russ

Some of us look foward to PMDG's efforts directed to the military. I did this using the civilian paint kit. I am working on trying to do a paint kit for the P-8A. Again this was done 3 years ago. Seach the AVSIM downloads in the author "Russel R. Smith & PMDG" I did 5. I am working on VP-40 as I am building the kit. Russ

Rob Need some help. Very basic. The e-Sata cable that is part of the front panel, where did you plug that in on the MB? Cataracts make it difficult to see everything. Putting off surgery for them. BTW I made the brass bridges to support the H110I. Not the greatest solution but it worked. Russ Smith
