October 20, 201213 yr Hi good day all. i was hoping someone can point me in the correct direction of calibrating my logitech xtreme 3d pro joystick via FSUIPC 4 for the ngx as the response from the joystick is just plain awful. all turoials ive read about have left me with fully deflected rudder and extremely sensitive controls. obviously ive been doing something wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated Sony Vaio VPCF110X Nvidia GeForce GT330M, i7Q720 @1.6-2.8Ghz 4Gb DDR3 1333Mhz Win 7 x64 Siddiq Ali
October 20, 201213 yr I had the same problem with FSUIPC and my Logitech xtreme pro joystick and contacted Peter Dowson for help. He had a bs attitude and was no help at all. Hopefully someone else has figured it out and can help you. Good luck.
October 21, 201213 yr Sidali, I use the same joystick. I don't interface it exclusively via FSUIPC. Just set it up in FSX>Controls and the Logitech Control Panel/Menu. I also allocated each button to a specific task this way. If I remember correctly, rudder, elevators etc are set at sensitivity of 64 each in FSX. I found this to be reasonably acceptable. You may tweak them further until you find the sweetspot. You may have more success just doing it this way, keeping it simple. (IMHO). If you require more detail, let me know. Good luck with it. November 22, 201213 yr Author well ive kept it quite simple reducing all the sensitivites on on the FSX control config an the logitech profiler to the lowest level. this has completely eliminated all the erratic control surface movements! thanks very much for the advice!! really imprved my sim experience!
