July 10, 200421 yr I have purchased the realair Sf260 and discovered that I as the pilot sits in the right seat. In every other plane I have tried the pilot sits in the left seat. So what am I doing in the right seat of the SF260? Can I change this? It feels somewhat wrong.
July 10, 200421 yr Commercial Member Because in a real SF.260 the pilot in command does in fact sit in the right seat. If you want to sit in the left in the VC, you can either edit the eyepoint in the cfg, or use something like Active Camera... July 10, 200421 yr That is where the pilot is supposed to be sitting in the 260. It is actually kind of fun to fly from that location. Variety is the spice and all that. I often sit in the right hand seat when flying other planes just for the fresh view of things. However, if y'all just simply can't stand it, slide over to the left in the VC view and carry on. ;)-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what

July 10, 200421 yr In addition to what everyone else has said, the right seat controls are more like what a single or tandem seat military aircraft would be like. This way, you get right hand for the joystick & left hand for throttle, prop, and mixture. L.Adamson
