Can FSX use the ENB and SM3 mods at the same time? If so is there any benifts? As of now I run only ENB but I'd like to make my fsx look as good as alot of the youtube video's out there.

David is referring to Shader Model 3.0 and I don't use Shader Model 3.0 but this is an interesting question. I heard it helps with water textures....I use FSWC and am happy with that so never experimented on SM3.

Well I run REX for water but I might have to try it unless somone chimes in.

FYI I have REX HD V2 as well and set the water textures with REX first and then use FS Water Configure for shading, reflectivity adjustment.

Yes you can use the ENB with SM3.

 

And, I agree with fltsimguy concerning the FSWC utility,it is simply brilliant!
