July 11, 200421 yr Somewhere along the way, I must have merged a AI traffic file, which has caused some AI aircraft to be duplicated. This causes some of my AI aircraft to show two aircraft flying in formation (same aircraft ID's) along their routes. Is there any utility out there that will scan my AI traffic files and delete the duplicates?
July 13, 200421 yr I had this problem in FS2002.There was then a programme called Traffic Mover which definitely checked for duplicates and much more besides within FS2002: look for the file aitm12sp1.zip.Unfortunately it has never been updated and doesn't work directly with FS2004 - there isn't a facility to change the FS directory it looks in. I'm not sure if it could handle FS2004 if it could find them. However, if you have Traffic Tools ttools202.zip, you may be able to decompile your flight plans, move them manually into the Traffic Mover directory and pick them up from there.Alternatively, have a look thru the FS2004 Utilities section in the Avsim file directory.I was thinking of trying this - tmngr10d.zip, which is called Traffic Manager and is for FS2004.Hope that helps
July 14, 200421 yr If you toddle along to Thomas's sitehttp://www.molitor-home.de/fs/I think you'll find a download of his program which will work with FS2004. As the the above subscriber mentions this is a great tool which will do just about anything you can think of regarding AI.But it's addictive so beware:-kewlHave fun
July 14, 200421 yr Author Note that you have to install the FS2002 version first, then install the ver 2.0 over it as an upgrade. AI Traffic Mover is a "must have" for me.scott s..
July 16, 200421 yr Now have it working for FS2004.I find the "randomise AI percentage" feature useful (if you have more AI flights than your system can display at anyone time) and the ability to find flightplans for which you don't have an aircraft.Great stuff. Any idea why the FS2004 version didn't get loaded to Avsim?
July 16, 200421 yr I've no idea, perhaps Thomas still looks on it as a beta version and will upload when he's satisfied. Yes the randomise AI is useful but don't forget you can set the % for each flightplan if you wish.It is a splendid tool, once you get familiar with it you couldn't do without it. Thanks very much indeed Thomas.
