A very simple question...

Is there a reseller that distributes the hardware of flightdeck solutions?

 

I am interested in the fmc but, being produced in Canada, I am afraid that both shipping and taxes will push the price up significantly.

I recently purchased the "B737NG Pro-MX series control unit (CDU)w/VGA LCD" direct from FDS. Peter Cos could not have been more helpful. We talked via Skype before I purchased.

 

It cost me Can$999.95 and shipping cost from Canada was Can$90. My total bill of Can$1,089.95 exchanged into £708.77.

 

I am very pleased with the purchase. The quality of the build is exceptionally good. It is a faithful replica of the Boeing unit.

 

The software is not straightforward, but is quickly mastered. If you buy and want any help with the panel.cfg amendments - just contact me.

 

One downside - it is specific to the 737. If you want to use with a 747 (for example) you need to buy another unit - specific to that aircraft.

That's what I'm afraid of.

With all the taxes we have to deal with, it's just too expensive to consider.
