October 27, 201213 yr Based on the recent threads I decided to purchase OpusFSX today. I went through the Flight1 purchase process and install. Initially when I ran the FSXserver application to install as a single user PC, the mode of operation box said "Unlimited Operation". I went through the install manual thinking I did everything right. I have FSX Acceleration installed. I ran FSXserver prior to loading FSX, and it showed attempts to connect on client 1 and 2. On opening SPY, it showed a steady stream of fails on the two connections and also said "not connected". I wasn't too concerned as this was stated in the manual that these messages weren't a problem. When I selected my default flight, however, there was no weather. I waited several minutes, and still no weather. I took off and flew a bit thinking something might change. Nothing happened so I exited. I shut down FSX, closed the FSXserver, rebooted my system, and then repeated the load process of FSXserver. Interestingly, this time the mode box came up with "Network Client". Apparently, even though I do have a LAN installed on my system and I told the install that I only wanted the one PC to be used, it decided to change things. When I loaded a flight, again no weather loaded. Also, my aircraft appeared glued to the pavement. I couldn't push back, pull forward, slew, or any other kind of movement. All control surfaces and instruments worked properly though. I'm sure I've missed something with the install. If someone could guide me, I would appreciate it. I don't want to run any of this on my network. I want to run only on my main PC. Thanks. Thank you.
