  1. Ove seen this group in person. They do the best 50s show you will ever see.
  2. I've watched this and am still in awe. What a wonderful artist.
  3. Interesting. My youngest granddaughter is a caricature artist at Legoland in Winter Haven.
  4. Please request this in the proper FS Forum.
  5. There is a clearly legible sign posted warning about this Yes. Horses will bite.
  6. I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Hoover and chat a bit with him many years ago. Wonderful man
  7. I loved SFO in 1967 and 68. Much fun.😅
  8. Outstanding response.
  9. You might also visit the VR forum.
  10. Welcome to AVSIM. We have quite a varied and active community here dedicated to Flight Simming and the many different types and aircraft. I invite you to check out all the forums and if you need help don't hesitate to ask.
  11. Just read about this purchase. I think it will be a good move for the Saitek brand. I never had any problems with their hardware, but their software was another story. As a result, I left Saitek long ago and use CH products. I did try the Saitek Cessna yoke and pedals a couple of years ago at SunNFun and it seemed to work fairly well. Only time will tell and it will be interesting to see what Logitech has in store.
  12. I'm hoping Stonelance or Kavinda might come along with some info on this. I don't know what the problem might be, but please post the result when you get it. Thanks.
  13. Zebie - You need to understand that those that have offered some help are not "raggingf" on you. You have given precious little information concerning exactly what the problem is other than it doesn't run. Everyone here is trying to help and even Kevin has offered to remotely try to solve the problem for you. I suggest you take a deep breath, offer more info if possible, and avail yourself of Kevin's help. You might be surprised at what may happen. And if it is impossible to correct, which I doubt, then I'm sure you and FSFX can work out an amicable settlement. Also, as mentioned, install one product at a time to eliminate the possibility of two of them conflicting.
  14. I left this in the Flight forum as a number of our members used G-Plan in Flight. To the OP, if this is not Microsoft Flight related, then please let me know and I'll move this topic to the forum it should be in.
  15. Interesting concept but far too complex to be practical.
  16. Did you clean the registry? If not there might still be (probably will be) remnants of your previous installation.
  17. You have to be kidding. It has been stated numerous times by both DTG and Avsim members and staff that this is in no way "the next gen FS). I'll repeat one more time - This is an entry level sim mainly aimed at novice users. It is not intended to be a full-blown simulator. Just a way to get your feet wet and see if you might like flying. Enough negativity already. If you don't like it so be it. No need for such comments.
  18. Every new sim or derivative elicits these same comments. Kind of like deja'vu all over again. I thouroughly enjoyed Flight and still do but I'm willing to give the DTG school a fair try too. After all, guys, it is new and we should not expect it to be smooth as silk. I'm willing to give it a little time (about 15 bucks worth) to show me what it has and what DTG is willing to do with the comments and dare I say "complaints".
  19. Thanks, Bill. I thought it would be, but I haven't had time to get that deep into its' innards. This should work just fine. I think I'll just copy my controls section from FSX and see if I can wedge it into Flight School. I guess I'm a little strange as I enjoy doing these little surgical procedures. Funny thing is that DTG recognized my pedals including toe brakes right away. I remember this being a problem in Flight that we eventually solved.
  20. Bill, I tried the double click and it still wouldn't let me program my left rocker switch for trim. I guess I'll do a steam file verify and see if that clears it up. If all else fails, is there a config file (ala FSX) that will let me do it manually?
  21. Would be very nice if they recognized CH yoke switches also. Won't let me set the trim with the switch I normally use. I find the extended control setup a mirror of FSX ( which isn't surprising), but it's not as functional. Also, there is a calibration entry but it doesn't work for me either. The major problems I have with the program is the inability to trim without using the CH trim wheel which is not very accurate, and the fact I can't set a return to center switch on my yoke. This makes it hard to return to your front and center view. Perhaps DTG is listening to us.
  22. I had pre-loaded DTG Flight, and it still downloaded a 528 MB update when I started Steam. So be patient. Not too impressed at this point. MS Flight was much more even though it was also lacking in some areas. Took a 1/4 hr flight from my home ap to another close by just to get a feel of the super cub. So, so. Most switches don't work and I found it almost impossible to trim the a/c for normal flight. I did notice some wind , however. Kept pushing me off course just as it would in real life. Landed without any problems, taxied, and parked. One annoying thing though. It kept reminding me that I didn't have an engine running after shutdown. Seems like a holdover from the FS series. Hopefully can spend some more time with this sim shortly to really sort it out.
  23. No problem dropping 15 skins on this. I'm very interested in seeing what DTG has done with this new product. Should be very interesting trying it out, and laughing at the deluge of posts that are sure to follow.
  24. Great flight tracker. I had no idea that there were that many 787's in the air. I also had no knowledge of Thomson Airlines. Apparently a British entity that specializes in Florida, the Caribbean, and Mexico. Thanks for posting the link.
  25. Actually, the warnings about lawyers and any legal wranglings are none of our business. This would be the OP's domain. This question has been answered as it relates to FSX, P3D, Xplane, or any other simulator that we can name. The OP has been contacted by one of our vendors and has responded to him. Please temper your comments and replies accordingly.
