    Plastics !

I read a while back that micro plastics are present in most human blood samples being tested. This in itself is very concerning.
  3. You might also visit the VR forum.
  4. Welcome to AVSIM. We have quite a varied and active community here dedicated to Flight Simming and the many different types and aircraft. I invite you to check out all the forums and if you need help don't hesitate to ask.
  5. I saw this happen in person. I definitely don't need to watch a movie about it and relive that horrible incident.
  6. I still have my 92 Harley 883 Sportster low rider with stage 1 upgrade .
  7. The same from me, Noel. If I miss it, an early birthday salute to you too Bill. I turned 74 on the first day of this month. As the old saying goes, "If I knew I would live this long, I would have taken better care of myself." Wish you both the best and many more.

    Rebel Moon

I enjoyed it for the most part but didn't care for the cliffhanger ending. Oh well. That how sequals and prequals happen. I will check out the next installment but if its the same as this one then I might pass.
  9. I'm more than a bit leery of all this automation today. In July of this year some guys hacked my phone and stole a bunch of money from my bank account then placed orders on my Amazon account. I'm still dealing with fallout from this. I felt like I was pretty well protected from this but they got through my security and away they went. Also my Amazon was biometrically protected and they were able to still get in. There are parts of the world that breeds this activity and its getting worse every day. Now I have several more layers of protection but I will bet efforts are being made by these demons to overcome them as we speak.
  10. Back in October I was in Cocoa Beach and was less than 8 miles from the launchpad. The evening launch was spectacular. We felt the sound and sonic booms from the condo balcony.
  11. I'm fortunate enough that if the weather's clear I can see all launches from my back yard.
  12. Look up a guy by the name of Tesla
  13. Nice report. Thanks for posting.
  14. 100 mile range is ridiculous. They will need to improve a huge amount to be relevent.
  15. My father was on Okinawa preparing to invade Japan when Hiroshima was ignited by the first nuclear bomb in history. I guess one could surmise numerically that if there was no bomb there would most likely be no me. It has been estimated that the military death toll for an invasion would have exceeded the loss of 1 million combatants combined.
  16. I think you will find it was the Ford. I had the pleasure of taking my young son on his very first airplane ride in the Tin Goose (RIP) some years ago. At that time it was the oldest commercial passenger aircraft still flying. This was the mid 80s. In addition our pilot was the oldest commercial pilot. He gave a history of the aircraft and if memory serves me this very ship made the inaugural flight to Havana.
  17. I sawcthis and fully believed it was for clicks alone. Really stupid.
  18. If you do the math given component strength analogy you can calculate the strength per foot or for our metric fans CM. I invite you to do so. Spars and ribs provide a percentage of the total strength of the wing structure. The rest is provided by the connection of the skin which also provides the wing surface where lift is derived.
  19. How well does a Vr work with a person without binocular vision?
