October 28, 201213 yr Can I use historical wx data in OpusFSX?? Data from yesterday, last week, last month, last year?? Is it possible for me to start a flight in one flying session, save and exit the flight and then continue it later and still use the proper wx data?? October 28, 201213 yr Sorry that this won't answer the question, but where do you find this data? Also, I don't have Opus, but I think it should depending on the input method for the weather (online servers, manual entering, etc.) FS2004 Forever
October 28, 201213 yr Author Active Sky products are able to use historical wx data. I can therefore use wx from a week or two ago, even a year ago. I think their database extends back several years. While I have no interest in using wx from years ago, I do want to use data from yesterday or even 6 months ago, and do so frequently. Also I need to know if the product is compatable with Radar Contact. I can't imagine that it wouldn't be but thought I'd better ask. I've seem some screnies using OpusFSX. The effects are staggering to say the least. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
October 28, 201213 yr Commercial Member At the moment you can import historic METARs via a text file but we will soon be implementing an option based on your sim time, so you just set that and the software does the rest. We have a topic on Flight1 relating to historic weather. I haven't tried the package you mentioned so I don't know if it is compatible. Regards Cheryl
