November 4, 201213 yr Hi, After trying lots of different textures both freeware and payware since I installed FSX long time ago I would like to go back to a clean state the way all textures were "out-of-the-box" in FSX SP2. I have a complete backup of a clean FSX SP2 installation. Could you please let me know what files/folders are replaced/changed by AS 2012 textures? I understand ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Texture is one of them but are there other folders as well? Maybe there is some kind of install log I could have a look in? TIA,
November 4, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hello, The files that AS2012 replaces are backed up in your Users\username\Appdata\Local\HiFi\AS2012\backups\initial_backup folder on first run. You can use this for reference. There is also a createBackupLog.txt and backup.xml file in your Users\username\AppData\roaming\HiFi\AS2012 folder which lists the individual files. The log lists the individual files backup up during the actual process and the .xml is the definition of files (with full path names). For your purposes I'd say referencing the backup (local) folder will be the easiest. Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
