Building Crash at 1000 ft

Featured Replies

Strange thing happened yesterday on final TO RWY 24 at LTFJ a Addon by VAPS i had a building crash at 1000 ft :O I believe crash boxes can be placed but don`t have a clue how!

Can anyone put a light on hear?

Crash boxes are built in as part of the model of a scenery object or aircraft. This would be a modelers error, probably got happy fingers and should maybe have been 10 or 100 instead of 1000 or more. Unfortunately only the modeler could fix this. You can only remove the bgl that contains the building(?) from the scenery (if you can find it) or turn off crashes in you realism settings while flying in that area. I hope this is the info you were looking for.

Thanks Mel! Usually VAPS are good and the airport is really a nice one, pity i`ll turn the realism off till i`m well clear!

In any case, I'd suggest keeping crash detection turned off anyway. Sometimes, you'll be taxiing around and come across a "hole" in a scenery. Last thing you want is to taxi down at ten knots only to have the simulator tell you you crashed.
