Need Some Help Please !

One Of the Library Admins Showed me how good Dx 10 Looks so I decided to give it a go, Overall it looks very Promising

but I'm having a problem with Flashing Ground and cloud textures, i have been playing with the Buffer Pools settings and it

has settled down some but not Completely, I;m also seeing the FSX start screen flashing outside the vc instead of the Anti collision

Lights (tried to get a screenie but wasn't fast enough) i can look at it for minutes and it won't do it until i look away and then look back ??

I must be Missing Something other than that i think i will like it.

Hi Marty,

I hope you have your fsx.cfg's set as shown in Paul's How To topic pinned above. I see you also have an ATI card and the author of the DX10 fix has an ATI card too so he has the best video card settings. If you are seeing remnants of the start screen and on panels, etc., you have your settings too high. I also note in your PC profile you have the CPU overclocked to 4.5GHz then just below that it states 4.0GHz. Not a biggie and it won't affect DX10 but just wanted to bring to your attention. If you are seeing flashing fround and cloud textures, it is also possible the dx10 fix did not install properly as these were the issues before Steve's fix.

Marty - Would you post you fsx.cfg here, please - also please do it as an attachment to the post, as when you paste it directly into the post - it changes the format of the text, and that has to be fixed, as it will/may introduce problems. It also takes up a lot of space. Thanks. :smile:
