Featured Replies

I would really like to repaint my Flight1 Piper Archer using the supplied template and Text O Matic software but despite having both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro I am having difficulties:-(Does anyone know of any online tutorials to help newbie repainters wanting to repaint Flight 1/Dreamfleet aircraft using Text O Matic and supplied templates? Did a search on AVSIM and couldn't find anything. Thanks for any infoAdamAdam Moorewww.hhuk.netWin XP Pro - Dell Dimension 4500P4 2.54 GHz - 1GB RAMHiTech Radeon 128MB 9800Pro IceQ19" CRT 1600x1200 @ 100hzAudiophile 24/96FS2004 + UK2000 1/2/3/4/5/6/EGLL PRO/OSS GatwickUK VFR 1/2/3/4UK VFR TerrainUltimate VFR : RealAir SF-260Ultimate IFR : PMDG 737Ultimate FUN : RealAir Scout

Just paint the template like any other. It's actually easier because there is only one file which typically contains an unbroken image of the aircraft instead of having to piece lots of parts together in your mind and see if they line up.Then export to a single BMP in DXT3 or 32 bit and let TOM handle the mapping onto the actual texture files for you, couldn't be easier.

"Just paint the template like any other."That's the problem. I haven't painted "any other"!
