November 18, 201213 yr Seriously... I am getting d3d.dll crashes at RANDOM times, usually when I've been simming for extended periods of time all from the g3d.dll -It happens with Advanced addons (NGX, Flytampa, Aerosoft) -Last time it happened when I was trying to Instand Replay with FSrecorder (VERY ANNOYING) -Happened when tried to access flight planner during a flight. How can I solve this? I have the latest registered version of FSUIPC (4.8)
November 18, 201213 yr Found my fix, thanks. Just manually turn off ENB series when selecting a menu item.
November 18, 201213 yr Scratch that, it isn't working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got the same crash!!! G3d.dll. WTH???? Please give me some advice somebody I've put uiautomation core in the FSX, but nothing is working Tested again, and got another crash, but from d3dx9.dll.
November 18, 201213 yr Tested again, and got another crash, but from d3dx9.dll. The d3d9.dll is related to the ENB series mod. Most of the ENB versions do not work with FSX. You will have to remove ENB (remove the d3d9.dll from your main fsx folder and the enb.ini and anything else related to this mod). The ENB mod was actually made for another game and someone modified it to get it to work in FSX. Some people have found versions that work and have not seen crashes. I got it to work but suffered crashes and graphics anomalies so it left my system a long time ago. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
