November 18, 201213 yr Is there any program that will allow the user to visually see the scenery and location in a bgl or xml file? Is there any way to view all of the objects in FSX and Acceleration? Is there any way to visually search for a specific GUID object? Thanks, Bob.
November 18, 201213 yr "Scenery" is a generic term in a lot of cases. Are you talking about terrain or objects that are placed upon the terrain?
November 18, 201213 yr Author Thanks for the reply. I am looking for a program that will visually show the GUID objects picture and location. I have WIN7 64 bit if that matters. Bob.
November 18, 201213 yr I think Instant Scenery 2 shows the GUID and most objects have thumbnails. Lat/Lon will show also. What it won't show are Generic Buildings, which make up most of the placed objects within FSX.
November 18, 201213 yr Author Hi. OK. Thanks. I have looked at Instant Scenery but I did not realize there was a Version 2. Trying to get detailed info on it is hard. They only give very basic information. Bob.
November 18, 201213 yr Author Whisplacer, available here. Hi. Thanks. I used to use Whisplacer but it does not seem to run right on WIN7 54 bit. Bob. Detailed info is as simple as downloading the demo and giving it a try? Hi. Thanks. I didn't see a demo. I'll go back and look. Bob.
