Just a summary of what has been determined with the help of your post and some research on the appropriate web sites:

 

Aerosoft Piper Cheyenne

Dreamfleet Baron 58 Lite

Eaglesoft Piper Comanche

Carenado Seneca ll

 

all of these aircraft will work in FS9 and Windows 7/64. Thats far more than I knew when I started this thread. So now I have some decisions to make. I would like to keep my fleet down to eight aircraft that I fly on a regular basis. I still have some bush flying aircraft and one regional jet (O.K. I'm a heretic) to add.

 

About the Howard 500. I had to look that up to even know what it looked like. To classic for me but I have to admit it looks like it would be fun to fly.

 

I really appreciate you that took your time to respond to my post. It has been a great help to me.
