i have set a button to my preferred forward facing view at a certain zoom level.

let's say that i have pressed this button to set this preferred view.

after i change the zoom level and click the same button again the view resets to the correct position and direction but the zoom level does not reset.

 

only after i change to a different camera preset and then return back to the preferred forward view then the zoom level will be correct again.

 

so in short, the zoom level should be reset after every assigned button press.

We can't determine what zoom level you have selected in FSX. If you change the zoom manually within FSX you will have to change it back again manually.

 

The reason it worked when you selected a new view is that we detected a different zoom level between the previous and new camera views displayed. We deliberately don't zoom in between camera views with the same zoom level since it produces a zooming effect most people don't like as opposed to a plain switch of view.
