  1. https://fselite.net/content/our-microsoft-flight-simulator-2024-compatibility-list-is-live/
  2. Thanks for this! How did you identify the LVARs?
  3. Starts the next AIRAC cycle https://www.hongkongairport.com/en/media-centre/press-release/2024/pr_1757
  4. You're the best Fragtality! Has anyone made a profile for the default MSFS aircraft?
  5. I really enjoyed this video from V1-Simulations with the Toliss A319 trying out the failure model. V1-Simulations is an A320 series pilot. Seems to have held up quite closely against his company procedures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-E6KPm4Iig
  6. Maybe "choose the sims you would like to install for?" but agree this is probably a marginal use case, I'm just grateful your utility exists 😀.
  7. Thanks Fragtality! With the 0.7.9 installer, it made an assumption that because I had MSFS installed that I wanted to install Pilots Deck there but I wanted to install for X-Plane only. It would not let me proceed without proceeding without installing Mobiflight. Therefore I just did the manual install. Not a big deal but just pointing it out.
  8. so the choice is to not be able to see anything (narrow field of view) ... or not be able to see anything (dark cockpit) ? 😅
  9. thanks for sharing that ... think goes to show a bit of compromise here helps with different setups
  10. Come on you're being a bit extra difficult here ... I'm sure the X-Plane team take feedback on features even when we don't have a statistically significant survey. It would seem like there is interest in having brighter cockpits and perhaps that can be an option. It is a common complaint for other sims (e.g. MSFS, P3D) and there are preferences for a brighter cockpit.
  11. Throw some fuel into the fire at 56:54... 🙂
  12. you're the best Fragtality ... not much more to say
  13. flytampa's recommended settings can be found here: http://flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6105
  14. i find the short turn state in the NGX really helps a lot because a lot of things that need to be checked / set are already done making setup a lot faster focusing on the FMC
  15. ^^^ nothing wrong with maximizing profits, encourages a healthy industry especially in a niche one like ours another ten bucks for a scenery isn't a make a break deal for a hobby
  16. i agree completely, although the aerosoft isn't bug free, it is a well done product at this stage and completely usable and immersive. i like realism but i also really appreciate the checklist and co-pilot functions they have which make it easier to learn. at the 29.99 price pcaviator had it for, it was a no brainer for me.
  17. thanks for this as well updated last night using Martin's (FlyTampa) settings
  18. i find it really hard to complain about price when a lot of developers are not professional and the market itself is not very lucrative. even if things are a bit more expensive, doesn't hurt to support the people making it if it is something that you want and can afford.
  19. the only reason i don't fly this plane is because when i pause the fuel still burns it's tough for me to keep up with what's going on without pausing, can anyone confirm if this has been fixed? (i'm just hoping here)
  20. you forgot developer meets release date and product doesn't meet expectations they get hammered. we gotta remember a lot of developers aren't full time and do this on the side and that it's a hobby based on a community.
  21. why are you guys even using the CD's anyways? copy the two discs into one folder on your HD, run the installer ... keep the CD's away somewhere
  22. brendan forgot the FLT file you can redownload from the link in his post http://forum.avsim.net/topic/405994-come-on-majestic-give-us-the-advanced-tutorial/page-2#entry2655469
  23. it may arguably still be the best airbus on FSX as well
  24. have you tried the advanced tutorial yet? most of the feedback is actually in the unofficial majestic forum
  25. thanks a lot brendan, it's easier to work with the FLT files as then i'm starting exactly the same place as you are! thank you so much on your great work on the advanced tutorial.
