  1. But seemingly the X-Plane FSR also isn't great??? Do people actually use that feature?
  2. The best NVIDIA card you can afford?
  3. Would like to see what Austin's X-Plane looks like that it doesn't have jaggies Maybe we can get to shadow resolutions next too
  4. so the choice is to not be able to see anything (narrow field of view) ... or not be able to see anything (dark cockpit) ? 😅
  5. thanks for sharing that ... think goes to show a bit of compromise here helps with different setups
  6. Come on you're being a bit extra difficult here ... I'm sure the X-Plane team take feedback on features even when we don't have a statistically significant survey. It would seem like there is interest in having brighter cockpits and perhaps that can be an option. It is a common complaint for other sims (e.g. MSFS, P3D) and there are preferences for a brighter cockpit.
  7. Will these changes make their way back to the A319 and A321?
  8. Throw some fuel into the fire at 56:54... 🙂
  9. Feel probably could be a tad more, although the ZIBO is heavy on frames I'm running Win 10, 10600K, 32 GB, RX 6700 XT, UWQHD getting more than you, 2x MSAA everything else max / on and think I'm doing better than what you're showing. Noticed you had Zink already enabled.
  10. Remember certain add-ins like FSLabs, PMDG or even Prepar3d itself to deactivate the product before moving to a new computer!
  11. If you also have MSFS, the best way to learn the bus is the FBW. It is a really good plane, has great documentation and is free. Then when you "graduate" then consider some of the other paid options (FENIX, FSLabs, ToLiss).
  12. Kudos to the Milviz team for this, it is very generous beyond the previous discount that was previously offered. Great to still be able to fly the T-38A :)
  13. I was curious and went to check it out ... I don't have it either :( ... weird thing is that the bridge does show up in their screenshots. P3D V5, ORBX Global, LatinVFR KSAN V2,
  14. There is a setting in the configuration manager, when you modify the settings for each livery you can choose the setting. For some reason that option doesn't appear when you are in the Prepar3D menu. Probably best to check the support forum for a more prompt response!
  15. Thanks Ray, but you didn't quite answer my question ... how many hours will it take for someone with airline familiarity to learn this? It's not going to be 2.5 hrs 😅
  16. where is this Q1 announcement? what did we miss? it's a bit silly for FSL to prevent visitors to their general forums ... i can understand for the tech and support forums I'm interested in the Concorde but very worried about the time commitment to learn. How many hours of tutorials and mulling over the cockpit will it take someone who has only flown Airbus and Boeings with FMCs?
  17. With the new AMD 23.2.1 drivers on my 6700XT, things seem to be better, no more graphical corruption and the FPS on the demo is fairly decent. Quite surprising what a toll the higher MSAA levels take on performance though ...
  18. Please read my post, I copied the forum message there. It doesn’t say much though.
  19. you're the best Fragtality ... not much more to say
  20. I think in screenshots it looks ok but when moving around in the cockpit it becomes a bit more obvious. I think the FSL and PMDG have better VC texturing. I prefer to use MSAA if I can get away with it because it is easier on frames but agree need to use SSAA when flying the plane. The external application configuration manager is a bit old school but does get the job done. No arguments from me on the overall quality of hte plane.
  21. I have it. "high quality textures" is not how I would describe the VC. The VC text is also not legible using MSAA. You can tell this is true because of the disappointment in the VC textures in MSFS version.
