VOX ATC 6.06 and UT2

Featured Replies

Hey Everyone,

I am at the point of Fresh installations of all of my FSX and addons. I love using VoxATC especially with

connecting to my Ipad for the radio stack. I always have had trouble with how Vox was interacting with MTX and was considering going to WOAI or UT2. It seems, by reading this post, none of us can get exactly what we want out of a ATC and AI working together.

Either way I go. I would like to ask you guys if you can direct me or instruct me to install this the best way possible, I have a SSD 32gb, that I would like to stick FSX and FSX only on. I have 500gb HD that will house all the addons. Is this plan not possible? I am thinking WOAI would be the easiest to install on a separate drive and tie back to FSX main.

I will first attempt WOAI and test it with VOXATC. I will report back with results, suggestions welcome for proper installation. I will be testing at KORD chicago and monitoring AI on FScommander via client PC.

In my experience Vox isn't interacting at all with MTX. With UT2 you have to use "ut2bridge" to make it work somehow. I don't know about WOAI.

The only combination FSX - ATC  - AI that works for me without any problems is FSX - RC4 - MTX (or UT2).

(BTW: see the topic about UT2 I started here http://forum.avsim.net/topic/402527-ultimate-traffic-2-traffic-disappearing-over-water/#entry2622716.

Your SSD seems a bit small. Depending on what the disk read/write demand of the add-ons on your harddrive is, you may not gain much.
