The iFDG A319's are coming

Featured Replies

iFDG just released basemodel and paintkit of the A319 in the Avsim download library...does that mean the complete aircraft are soon to be released?

That is just the paintkit, you can use it to make an aicraft as is if you want but there may be problems as the textures provided are 'unfinished' so there'll be alpha channels and the like missing.Complete aircaft were uploaded before the P/K so it's just a case of waiting for AVSIM to add them to the library.

Crank up the power, add the bandwidth...the downloaders are coming, the downloaders are coming...Hope the system won't crash, what a good test though...not, the Europeans are either asleep or on holiday (i.e. vacation)Btw...My thanks to Tom and his staff for their reliable site, this hobby would be nowhere without it!!!

Their great, go to library and download ASAP!

i just downloaded it but deleted it when i found out it does not have a cockpit and only uses the defualt Boeing 737 panel. not dissing it just that i like to fly my planes from inside most of the time, i realise some like to fly them from out side so how they look outsid eis important but a nice outside is no good without a good inside IMHO.

Then go here http://ifdg.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2666Follow the instructions to download Eric's A32X panel which is the best that is freely available. If it's a Virtual cockpit that your wanting then theres a few previews of that here http://ifdg.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=...indpost&p=13154Once the A318 is released we will go back and do 1 large 'batch update' bringing all the models to the same standards and will release the Virtual cockpit for your flying pleasure :-)

iFDG's A3XX's + PSS panels = one of the best birds available for FS2004Dan.

>iFDG's A3XX's + PSS panels = one of the best birds available>for FS2004>>Dan.:-beerchug Have to agree with Dan, the iFDG Airbus and PSS panel are a great combination. :-beerchug

>>iFDG's A3XX's + PSS panels = one of the best birds>available>>for FS2004>>>>Dan.At risk of sounding totally incompetent, where do you guys find the PSS panels? Thanks!Best, Mark

Bruce, you could have done a search for a good A320 panel of course.....Eric's is good for the complex lovers, for more simple minds (like me) try Ken Mitchell's.Otherwise, it's your loss!!

cheers but i think i'll stick with my PSS busses. I was realy just curious and was immpressed with the external model but these days a VC and even cabin is realy a must, this is where the PSS planes fall down; i mean where is one supposed to during a long haul flight.

In my opinion the iFDG birds fly better than the PSS ones anyway.Plus you have access to a very, very large amount of FREE liveries, but the PSS panel is the best A320 panel available bar none.CheersDan.

Personally speaking, I can live without VC's and cabins. I believe that the IFDG models are superior externally to the PSS ones. You can merge the two, so maybe it's worth having a go.Of course, if you're happy with PSS then fair enough! :)
