Ok if anyone is using Aerosoft's Munich scenery can they please advise how to get rid of the white textures that appear on some of the ground vehicles? As I understand it there is some texture conversion that is needed and I've tried using this Addon Converter X tool but it seems to need a program called ImageTool which apparently isn't compatible with Windows 7 64bit. I don't want to use the DX10 preview mode with these sceneries because they bork the night lighting.

 

Is there any reason why these so called developers can't be assed making DX10 compatible textures? It isn't that much extra work surely?

It does work on 64-bit OS's, but it's not likely that you'll be successful at fixing the Aerosoft airports: There may be a "fix" for the missing night textures at some point in the future, as this is one of the areas which Steve is concerned with.

Thanks Paul, appreciate your help. AddonConverter doesn't seem to have been able to fix the problem with Munich so I guess the only solution for now is to enable DX10 Preview mode in the scenery and just fly during the day.

 

I'd have expected more from Aerosoft frankly. From what I've read it shouldn't be too hard for them to provide DX10 support as long as they stick to the FSX SDK.

When Steve fix this BIG issue that make me go back to DX9 (for now), I'll do a party for all DX10 enthusiasts! :Party:
