In a word, nothing. CPU usage will quickly drop to a more normal level once things are started and leveled out

That's normal, your i7 3770 goes into 'Turbo Boost Mode' (i think from 3.4 tot 3.8 Ghz) because FSX eats Ghz for breakfast.

 

Pity you didn't buy a i7 3770 K you can overclock to around 4.3 - 4.5 Ghz, because FSX needs as much Ghz as possible.

 

Do you use the Word Not Allowed Guide? Then the indication of the use of the CPU will be at around 70 to 80% because Core 0 of the processor will be used less and mostly for Windows, while FSX uses Core 1,2 and 3.

Yeah but i didn't know you couldn't overclock the non K :( But I hope to get the K version in Christmas eve!
