Access Violation Error on Startup

Featured Replies

Hey Folks

Can anyone help me track this error down, see pic?

For months and months and months been using Linda no problem, suddenly this happens on start up of FSX.

No, I have not added anything recently or made any other changes in the past few months.

However, I did get a "fatal error" a few trips ago, which required a restart of FSX.

I have pasted across a "new copy" of the linda.exe file to the modules folder, still the problem persists.

Any help would be gratefully apprteciated.

Regards Stuart

Hello,

sorry for the late reply.

Do you get this error at every startup or just occasionaly?

I have this here also from time to time, but can't say why.

Just restart LINDA.

If you get this everytime, there is then a serious error ...

Hiya

Sorry not to have replied sooner but I have been a little busy and not able to get near my pc for FSX purposes for a while.

I was getting this on every start up, so having read your post I just backed-up all my aircraft files and completely re-installed Linda.

That seems to have solved the problem.

Not sure how or why but some corruption must have crept in somewhere.

Thanks and Regards

Stuart
