Featured Replies

So i was flying from griffis up here in rome down to kennedy intl, and once i got over kennedy its almost like they forgot about me, i was on my way out into the atlantic and the tower never gave me any instructions? am i missing anything? there was quite a bit of traffic so maybe they were waiting or something but idk lol.

If you were concerned that they had forgotten you, the obvious thing would be to have called them.

I assume that you had been passed over to Tower by Approach ?? (If not, that might be one reason why they were not expecting you to be calling them, and were giving you a low priority).

If they had replied to you, chances are they would have told you to initially contact NEW YORK Approach.

Its not clear really what you are really talking about !!

"Flight Sim" or "Real world (in a GA aircraft)"?

FSX ATc or some online Human ATC (like Vatsim)

etc etc

That happens sometimes (ATC stops communicating). If this happens just open up your IFR plan again but click No when it asks you to start at the beginning. ATC will then get back in touch with you and vector you back into the pattern and you should be able to land.

Jim
